Lighting System
•
Turn the headlight bulb [A] clockwise.
•
Connect the headlight connector.
•
After installation, adjust the headlight aim (see Headlight
Aiming Inspection in the Periodic Maintenance chapter).
City Light Bulb Replacement
•
Remove the upper inner fairing (see Upper Inner Fairing
Removal in the Frame chapter).
•
Pull out the socket [A] together with the bulb.
•
Pull the bulb [A] out of the socket [B].
CAUTION
Do not turn the bulb. Pull the bulb out to prevent
damage to the bulb. Do not use bulb rated for
greater wattage than the specified value.
•
Replace the bulb with a new one.
•
Insert the socket and to the headlight.
○
Align the projections [A] of the socket and the grooves [B]
of the headlight.
Headlight Removal/Installation
•
Remove:
Upper Fairing (see Upper Fairing Removal i n the Frame
chapter)
Center Inner Fairing (see Center Inner Fairing Removal
in the Frame chapter)
Meter Bracket Screws [A] and Clamp
Headlight Mounting Screws [B]
Headlight [C]
•
Tighten:
Torque - Headlight Mounting Screws: 1.2 N·m (0.12 kgf·m,
11 in·lb)
