Oil Cooler Removal
•
Drain:
Coolant (see Coolant Change in the Periodic Mainte-
nance c hapter)
Engine Oil (see Engine Oil Change in the Periodic Main-
tenance chapter)
•
Remove:
Water Hoses [A]
Oil Cooler Mounting Bolts [B]
Oil Cooler [C]
Oil Cooler Installation
•
Replace the O-ring [A] with a new one.
•
Apply grease to the new O-ring.
•
Install the oil cooler [A].
Torque - Oil Cooler Mounting Bolts: 20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15
ft·lb)
•
Install the water hoses [B] as shown.
Front View [C]
•
Tighten:
Torque - Water Hose Clamp Screw: 2.0 N·m (0.20 kgf·m, 18
in·lb)
•
Pour:
Engine Oil (see Oil Change in the Periodic Maintenance
chapter)
Coolant (see Coolant Change in the Periodic Mainte-
nance c hapter)
Oil Cooler/Oil Filter Case Remov al
•
Remove:
Oil Filter (see Oil Filter Replacement in the Periodic
Maintenance chapter)
Oil Cooler (see Oil Cooler Removal)
Bolts [A]
Oil Cooler/Oil Filter Case [B]

Remove the oil filter pipe [C] as necessary.
