Remove:
Bolts [A]
Lower Cover [B]
•
Loosen the locknuts [A].
•
Remove the exhaust butterfly valve cable lower ends [B]
from the pulley [C].
•
Pull the exhaust butterfly valve cables out of frame.

Exhaust Butterfly Valve Cable Installation
•
Route the butterfly valve cables correctly (see Cable, Wire
and Hose Routing section in the Appendix chapter).
•
Install the exhaust butterfly valve cable lower ends to the
pulley of middle exhaust pipe [A].
Open Cable (Yellow) [B]
Close Cable (Dark Green) [C]
6 mm (0.24 in.) [D]

Tighten:
Torque - Exhaust Butterfly Valve Cable Locknuts: 7.0 N·m
(0.70 kgf·m, 62 in·lb)
•
Confirm whether it is an angle shown in figure.
NOTE
○
Correct the position electrically after confirming use is
discontinued, and there is no damage when differing
from the angle of shown in the figure.
If the angle is wrong, adjust the pulley (see Exhaust But-
terfly Valve Actuator Installation in the Fuel System (DFI)
chapter).
41.7° ±7° [A]
CAUTION
Do not correct it with the tool, forcibly.
