In caso di funzionamento irregolare
del motore con conseguente alta
temperatura nel sistema di scarico,
la spia rossa, presente nella multi-
spia, recante la scritta “SLOW
DOWN” lampeggerà oppure reste-
rà accesa in modo fisso.
L’accensione dell’ideogramma
“SLOW DOWN” è comandato dalla
termocoppia, tramite la centralina
Motronic.
Se la spia lampeggia:
la temperatura dei cata-
lizzatori si è eccessiva-
mente elevata.
Il guidatore deve decelerare im-
mediatamente e raggiungere

In the event of an engine malfunc-
tion resulting also in high tempera-
tures in the exhaust system, the red
“SLOW DOWN” warning light on the
multifunction display will either flash
or remain lit.
The “SLOW DOWN” light icon is
controlled by the thermocouple via
the Motronic ECU.
If the warning light is
flashing:
the temperature of the
catalytic converters is
too high.
The driver should slow down im-
mediately and reach a service sta-

En cas de fonctionnement irrégulier
du moteur et par conséquent une
température élevée dans le systè-
me d’échappement, le témoin rou-
ge, situé sur l’afficheur à fonctions
multiples, correspondant à l’indica-
tion “SLOW DOWN” clignote ou res-
te allumé en permanence.
L’éclairage du témoin “SLOW
DOWN” est commandé par le ther-
mocouple à l’aide du boîtier électro-
nique Motronic.
Si le témoin clignote:
la température des ca-
talyseurs est trop éle-
vée.
Le conducteur doit décélérer im-
médiatement et se rendre auprès

En caso de funcionamiento irregu-
lar del motor con la consiguiente ele-
vación de temperatura en el siste-
ma de escape, el testigo rojo, pre-
sente en la pantalla multifunción,
muestra la inscripción “SLOW
DOWN” parpadeando o se queda
encendida fija.
El encendido del grafismo “SLOW
DOWN” esta mandado por el termo-
par, a través de la centralita Motro-
nic.
Si el testigo parpadea:
la temperatura de los
catalizadores es excesi-
vamente elevada.
El conductor debe reducir inme-
diatamente y presentarse en un
