Carburetor

Remove the upper chamber cover [A], spring [B], and vac-
uum piston [C].
CAUTION
During carburetor disassembly, be careful not to
damage the diaphragm. Never use a sharp edge to
remove the diaphragm.

Remove the jet needle [D] from the vacuum piston. These
can be detached together with the spring seat [E].

Do not remove the pilot screw if possible, synchronization
of the carburetors is necessary if pilot screws are removed
(see Pilot Screw Adjustment).

Remove:
Screws [A]
Float Chamber [B]
•
Remove:
Screw [A]
Float Pivot Pin [B], Float [C], and Float Needle Valve
Pilot Jet [D]
Main Jet [E]
Starter Jet [F]
•
Remove:
Screws [A]
Coasting Enricher Cover [B]
