Rear Brake Lever, Pedal and Cables
•
Remove:
Circlip [A]
Cotter Pin, Washer and Pin [B]
Brake Pedal Cable [C]
Brake Cable Installation
•
Grease the brake cable front ends.
•
Replace the cotter pin with a new one.
•
Route the brake cables according to the Cable, Wire, and
Hose Routing section in Appendix chapter.
•
Adjust the brake pedal and rear brake lever.
Brake C able Lubrication
Whenever the brake cable is removed, lubricate the cable
as follows:
•
Lubricate the cable with a penetrating rust inhibitor.
