Procedure
Step 1 Select Security > Server-Based Security. The Security: Server-Based dialog box
appears:
Step 2 Complete the following:
Note Clicking Clear removes all the current entries in the window and any
entries you have made in other Template windows up until that point.
Table 3-13 Server-Based Security Settings
Field Description
Server Name/IP Enter the name or IP address of the server.
Server Type Enter the type of server.
Port Enter the port number your server uses for
authentication.
Shared Secret Enter the shared secret used by your server.
It must match the shared secret on the
RADIUS server.
Time Out (sec’s) Enter the number of seconds the access point
should wait before authentication fails.
If the server does not respond within this
time, the access point tries to contact the next
defined authentication server.
