ICAUTION I
Identify the
position
of each removed part. Organize
the parts in
their
respective
groups
(i.e., intake,
exhaust, No.1
or
No.2) so
that
they
can be installed in
their
original
locations.
CYLINDER HEAD COVER
CAM POSITION SENSOR
• Install the oil seal
CD
and cam position sensor
(2).
NOTE:
When installing, clean the cam position sensor's face.

Cam
position
sensor
bolt: 8 N·m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.8 Ib-ft)
PAIR REED VALVE
• Remove the PAIR valve covers
CD.
• Inspect the reed valve for the carbon deposit.
• If the carbon deposit is found in the reed valve, replace the
PAIR control valve with a new one.
• Install the PAIR valves and PAIR valve covers.
• Apply THREAD LOCK to the bolts and tighten to the specified
torque.
