CLEANING AND LUBRICATING
• Clean the drive chain with kerosine. If the drive chain tends to
rust quickly, the intervals must be shortened.
ICAUTION I
Do
not
use trichloroethylene, gasoline or
any
similar
solvent. These
fluids
will
damage the O-rings. Use
only
kerosine to clean the drive chain.
• After washing and drying the chain, oil it with a heavyweight
motor oil.
ICAUTION I
* Do
not
use any oil sold commercially as
"drive
chain
oil".
Such oil can damage the O-rings.
* The standard
drive
chain is DID50V4. Suzuki recom-
mends to use
this
standard drive chain as a replace-
ment.
