1) Check the battery for current leaks.

Is the battery for current leaks OK?
YES Go to Step 3.

NO

Faulty electrical equipment.
Step 3
1) Measure the regulated voltage between the battery terminals.

Is the regulated voltage OK?
•
Faulty battery.
YES
• Abnormal driving condition.
NO Go to Step 4.

1) Measure the resistance of the generator coil.
(erg-g)
Is the resistance of generator coil OK?
YES Go to Step 5.

Faulty generator coil.
NO

Disconnected lead wires.
