OPERATION
The secondary throttle control system (STCS) is operated by the signal supplied from the ECM. The
open/close operation of the secondary throttle valve (STV) is performed by the secondary throttle valve
actuator (STVA) which is controlled by the ECM.
The STPS detects the STVA movement by measuring the voltage and then the ECM determines the STV
angle based on the operation map.
Whenever turning the ignition switch ON, the STVA automatically drives the STV and detects full open posi-
tion voltages and sets to original position.
