DIAGNOSIS
"C11" CMP SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
DETECTED CONDITION
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The signal does not reach ECM for 4 sec. and more,

INSPECTION
Step1
1) Lift and support the fuel tank with its prop stay. (c:::rS-S)
2) Remove the air cleaner box. (c:::rS-1S)
3) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4) Check the CMP sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the CMP sensor resistance.
S) Disconnect the CMP sensor coupler and measure the
resistance.

resistance: 0.9 - 1.7 kO
(Terminal - Terminal)
If OK, then check the continuity between each terminal and
ground.

Is the resistance OK?
YES Go to step 2.
NO Replace the CMP sensor with a new one.
