• Install the oil pump drive sprocket 1 to the countershaft.
NOTE:
Teeth

on the sprocket must face the clutch side.
• Pass the chain between the oil pump drive and driven sprock-
ets.
CLUTCH
• Install the primary driven gear assembly 1.
NOTE:
* Before assembling the clutch, adjust the clutch lifter.

* If it is difficult to install the primary driven gear, rotate the
crankshaft.
* Be sure to engage the oil pump drive sprocket with the primary
driven gear.
• Install the bearing 2 and spacer 3, and apply engine oil to
them.
• Install the thrust washer 4.
• Install the washer 5 to the clutch sleeve hub.
• Install the wave spring washers 6, clutch lifter driven cam 7
and clutch lifter drive cam 8.
NOTE:
* Apply a small quantity of MOLYBDENUM OIL SOLUTION to
the contact surfaces of the clutch lifter drive cam
