Subthrottle Sensor (Service Code 32)
Resistance Inspection
•
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
•
Disconnect the subthrottle sensor connector.
•
Connect a digital meter [A] to the subthrottle s ensor con-
nector [B].
•
Measure the subthrottle sensor resistance.
Throttle Sensor Resis tance
Connections: BL lead [ C] ←→ BR/B K lead [D]
Standard: 4 ∼ 6kΩ
If the reading is out of the range, replace t he throttle body
assy.
If the r eading is within the range, but the problem still
exists, replace the ECU (see this chapter).
