1. Log on as a user with administrative rights.
2. Open System Preferences. The System Preferences window
appears.
3. Under System, click Accounts. The Accounts window appears.
4. Click the plus (+) sign to open a new user account form.
5. Type SMstudent in the Name box.
6. Type SMstudent in the ShortName box.
7. Click the Picture tab, and then select a picture for the user.
8. Click Create Account.
9. Repeat steps 2 through 9 to create the SMTeacher user account.
Assigning User Accounts to the SMusers Group
Use NetInfo Manager to assign the SMstudent and SMteacher users to the
SMusers group. For details, go to “Creating the SMusers Group” on page 71
and “Assigning the SMadmin User to the SMusers Group” on page 72.
You must now install the SuccessMaker Enterprise client on your Macintosh
workstations. Go to the next section.
