Verifying the Update Process
To verify that your system has been updated to SuccessMaker Enterprise
v1.6, complete the following steps:
1. Log on to the SuccessMaker Enterprise application as a teacher
or system manager user type.
2. From the Standard management system interface, on the Help
menu, click Components Version.
3. Verify that the screen displays 1.6 as the version of
SuccessMaker Enterprise.
Installing the MCS 2 Courseware
To install or update the Math Concepts and Skills 2 courseware, complete
the following steps:
1. Insert the Math Concepts and Skills 2 course CD in your CD
drive.
2. Click Start on the taskbar, and then click Run.
3. Type D:\Setup (where D: is the drive letter of your CD drive)
in the Run dialog box, and then click OK.
4. The Welcome page appears. Click Next.
5. At the Welcome page, click Next.
6. In the Select Installation Type page, select the Workstation
option, and then click Next.
7. Click Next. The Setup Type page appears.
8. Click the Install the Math Concepts and Skills 2 courseware
option.
Note: If you are updating the Math Concepts and Skills 2
courseware from v1.5 to v1.6, select the Update the Math
Concepts and Skills 2 courseware option.
9. Click Next to start the installation.
10. When the files are copied, click Finish.
Note: If you are installing the new MCS 2 course for the
first time, you must activate the courseware license and
verify that it is installed correctly. Go to the “Activating
the MCS2 Course” on page 154.
