Common Issues
Logging In
After double-clicking the login icon for the first time, the
product starts to load and then loops back to Windows.
Be sure that the Register.ilc file is located in the ResultsManager\
SuccessMaker\Library directory, and that it is named exactly Register.ilc,
rather than Register.ilc.exe or Register.exe, etc.
After double-clicking the login icon, I get an Error 2 or Error 3.
Verify that you have a drive mapped to the SME shared folder or the volume
location of SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 (T: is recommended).
Error JZ006
Be sure that the IP address specified in the DataAccess.properties
file (located in the ResultsManager\SuccessMaker\Library
directory) matches the IP address running at the Sybase server.
Be sure that the Sybase SME database service is running without
errors.
Running Reports
A “Report engine is busy.” message appears.
This message sometimes occurs when multiple people are trying to print
reports at the same time; this is normal and expected. However, if you
receive this message often, there are a number of possible explanations.
The most common cause is that there is something wrong with the SME
ODBC data source. Check the information you supplied in the ODBC
configuration. Ensure that you entered the correct IP address on the
Network tab and that the server name matches the name of the Sybase server
in the ODBC Configuration dialog box.
