If you are updating from v1.3, go to the next step. If you are
updating from v1.2, v1.3 with the service pack, v1.4, v1.5, or v1.5
with Service Pack 1, go to step 12.
11. Double-click 13AutoUpdate.hqx to extract the 13AutoUpdate file.
Note: The 13AutoUpdate.hqx file only appears if you are
updating from v1.3.
12. You must now update your Macintosh client workstations. Go to
“Auto-updating Macintosh Clients” on page 168.
Mac OS X
1. Close all applications on your Macintosh workstation.
2. On the Go menu, click Connect to Server. The Connect to Server
dialog box appears.
3. Type the IP address of your SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 server
and click Connect.
4. Log on as a user with administrative rights to the SME volume.
5. From the list of network volumes, select the SME volume and click
OK.
6. Browse to the ResultsManager\SuccessMaker\Mac folder on the
SME volume.
7. Double-click setup.hqx to extract the Setup file.
Note:
For Mac OS 10.4.x workstations, you must associate the
setup.hqx
file with the Stuff It Expander utility. To do this, hold
down CONTROL, click the
setup.hqx
file, point to
Open With
,
and then click
Other
. In the Choose Application dialog box,
browse to
Applications Mac OS9\Internet Utilities\Aladdin
Folder\Stuff It Expander 6.0\Stuff It Expander
, and then click
Open
.
8. Double-click newsetup.hqx to extract the Newsetup file.
If you are updating from v1.3, go to the next step. If you are
updating from v1.2, v1.3 with the service pack, v1.4, v1.5, or v1.5
with Service Pack 1, go to step 10.
9. Double-click 13AutoUpdate.hqx to extract the 13AutoUpdate file.
Note: The 13AutoUpdate.hqx file only appears if you are
updating from v1.3.
