Creating Users
1. Log on to your Windows 2003 server as a user with administrative
rights.
2. On your taskbar, click Start, point to Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
3. In Control Panel, open Administrative Tools.
4. Double-click Computer Management. The Computer
Management window appears.
5. Expand the Local Users and Groups category by clicking the plus
(+) sign.
6. Right-click the Users folder, and then click New User. The New
User dialog box appears.
7. Type the user's user name, password, and description in the fields
provided.
8. Click Create.
9. Click Close.
10. You must now create the SMusers group. Go to the next section.
Creating Groups
1. Right-click the Groups folder in the Computer Management
window, and then select New Group.
2. Type SMusers in the Group Name box, and then click Add.
3. Click Advanced. The Select Users dialog box displays additional
options.
