Installing the MCS 2 Courseware
To install or update the Math Concepts and Skills 2 course to your
courseware server, complete the following steps:
1. From a Windows workstation, log on to the courseware server as a
user with administrative rights.
2. Map a network drive to the SMECourses shared folder of your
courseware server.
3. Insert the SuccessMaker Math Concepts and Skills 2 Courseware
CD into the CD drive.
4. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
5. In the Run dialog box, type D:\Setup.exe (where D: is the drive
letter of your CD drive), and then click OK.
6. At the Welcome page, click Next.
7. In the Select Installation Type page, select the Content Server
Installation option, and then click Next.
Note: If you want to install the Math Concepts and Skills 2
course on your workstation, select the Workstation
Installation option.
8. In the Select Drive page, select the map drive letter of the
SMECourses folder.
9. Click Next. The Setup Type page appears.
10. Click the Install the Math Concepts and Skills 2 courseware
option.
Note: If you are updating the Math Concepts and Skills 2
courseware from v1.5 to v1.6, select the Update the Math
Concepts and Skills 2 courseware option.
11. Click Next to start the installation.
12. When the files are copied, click Finish.
