Configuring the Sybase 8.0.2.4339 Service
After you install the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 system on your
workstation, a shortcut to the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 database
appears on your desktop. To ensure that the database service starts correctly
every time, complete the following steps:
1. Right-click the SME Database icon on your desktop, and then
click Properties.
2. In the Target box, locate the drive letter as shown below. Change it
to the drive letter where the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 system
resides.
Note:
In the Target box, SME is the default name assigned to
the workstation. If you have more than one stand-alone
workstation on the same network, you must give each stand-
alone workstation a unique name after the –n switch.
3. Click OK.
4. Double-click the SME Database icon on your desktop to start the
database service.
