Modifying SuccessMaker Enterprise User File
Rights
After you update the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 system on your server,
you must set additional rights for the SMusers group.
1. From a Windows workstation, log on to your server as a user with
administrative rights.
2. Run the z:\public\win32\nwadmn32.exe management
application.(Where z: is the drive mapped to the public folder of
your server.
3. Click the Rights to Files and Directories tab.
4. Click Show, and then select the volume where SuccessMaker
Enterprise resides.
5. Click Add. In the Browse Context box, double-click the volume
where SuccessMaker Enterprise resides.
6. Double-click the ResultsManager\SuccessMaker\SupportS
folder.
7. In the Available Objects box, click the Doc folder.
8. With the correct volume highlighted in the Files and Directories
box select Write, Create, Erase and Modify, and then click OK.
You must now update your SuccessMaker Enterprise client workstations. To
update your client workstations. Go to the next section.
