SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 Client Installation
Important! If you have been running SuccessMaker version 5.4 or 5.5 in a
SOLO configuration, then you should first back up the STUDENT and
HISTORY folders to a temporary folder, and then remove the SOLO
installation.
Important! The client installations for SuccessMaker versions 4.x and 5.x are
not compatible with SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 and must be removed
before running the client installation.
Before you begin the installation, ensure that you start the Sybase database
service.
To install the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 client on your stand-alone
workstation, complete the following steps:
1. On the taskbar of your stand-alone workstation, click Start, and
then click Run.
2. Type C:\ResultsManager\SuccessMaker\Workst\Setup.exe
(where C: is the drive where the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6
installation resides), and then click OK.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions during the client installation.
4. The system now prompts you to configure an ODBC Data Source.
