Installing the EBF Patch
To install the EBF patch, complete the following steps:
1. Insert the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 Management System
Setup - School CD into the CD drive. Open the Sybase4339\
Windows folder, and then run the setup.exe file.
2. On the Welcome page, click Next.
3. Read the license agreement. Click the I accept the terms of this
agreement option, and then click Next.
4. On the Choose Location page, verify that the default path shown is
C:\Program Files\Sybase\SQL Anywhere 8, and then click Next.
5. On the Choose Shared Components Location page, verify that the
default path shown is C:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared, and
then click Next.
6. On the Select Components page, click Next.
7. On the Start Copying Files page, click Next.
8. After the files are copied, the Setup Complete page appears. Clear
the ReadMe file check box if you do not want to view the ReadMe
file, and then click Finish.
9. Restart the workstation.
10. You must now configure your database service. See “Configuring
the Sybase 8.0.2.4339 Service” on page 11.
