Installing the Courseware
To install the SuccessMaker courseware onto a courseware server,
complete the following steps:
1. From a Windows workstation, log on to the courseware server
as the SMadmin user.
2. Map a network drive to the volume where SuccessMaker
Enterprise resides.
3. Insert the SuccessMaker Courseware 1 CD into the CD drive,
or insert the SuccessMaker Courseware DVD v1.6 into the
DVD drive.
4. On the desktop of your Windows workstation, click Start, and
then click Run.
5. Type D:\setup (where D is the drive letter of your CD or DVD
drive), and then click OK.
6. At the Welcome page, click Next.
7. In the Select Drive page, select the map drive letter of the
SMECourses folder. As you go through the installation process,
make sure you select the same drive letter for all the discs (if
you are installing from CD).
8. Click Next to start the installation. The installation program
displays a progress indicator while the files are being copied.
9. When the files are copied, click Finish.
10. Remove the CD or DVD from the drive.
