You have successfully installed the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 system on
your stand-alone workstation. To access the courseware, you can either run
the courses from the courseware CDs or install the courseware directly to
your hard drive. For instructions on how to install the courseware to your
stand-alone workstation, continue to the “Installing the Courseware
Software on a Stand-Alone Workstation” section below. If you do not want
to install the courseware to your stand-alone workstation, go to the
“Licensing and Verifying the Installation” on page 18.
Installing the Courseware Software on a Stand-
Alone Workstation
To run the courseware directly from the CDs, the user needs to access the
course through the SuccessMaker Enterprise management system and insert
the correct CD for the course.
If you want to install the courseware to your hard drive, do one of the
following:
• If you are using the Courseware CDs (1-10) and the Math Concepts
and Skills 2 courseware CD:
a) Insert the SuccessMaker Courseware 1 CD in your CD drive.
b) Click Start on the taskbar and then click Run.
c) Type D:\Setup Standalone (where D: is the drive letter of
your CD drive) in the Run dialog box, and then click OK.
d) Follow the on-screen instructions to install the courseware.
Complete these same steps for CDs 2-10 and the Math
Concepts and Skills 2 course CD, sequentially.
• If you are using the courseware DVD v1.6:
a) Insert the SuccessMaker Courseware DVD v1.6 in your DVD
drive
b) Click Start on the taskbar and then click Run.
c) Type D:\Setup.exe (where D: is the drive letter of your DVD
drive) in the Run dialog box, and then click OK.
d) Follow the on-screen instructions to install the courseware.
You must now activate the courseware license and verify that it installed
correctly. Go to the next section.
