10. Select the Define this policy setting check box, and then select the
Disabled option.
11. Click OK.
12. You must now modify the domain controller security policy. Go to
the next section.
Modifying the Domain Controller Security Policy
1. Log on to your Windows 2003 server as a user with administrative
rights.
2. On your desktop, click Start, point to Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
3. In Control Panel, open Administrative Tools.
4. Double-click Domain Controller Security Policy.
5. Expand the Account Policies folder. Select Password Policy. Six
password policy options appear in the right pane.
6. Select the Minimum password length option. The Minimum
Password Length Properties dialog box appears.
7. Select the Define this policy setting check box.
8. In the Characters box, type or select 0 as the password length, and
then click OK.
9. Select the Password must meet complexity requirement option
from the right pane of the Domain Security Settings window.
10. Select the Define this policy setting checkbox and the Disabled
option.
11. Click OK.
12. You must now create the required user accounts. Go to the next
section.
