Assigning Course File Rights to the SMusers Group
1. Run the z:\public\win32\nwadmn32.exe management
application. (Where z: is the drive mapped to the public folder of
your server.)
2. Right-click the SMusers group, and then click Details.
3. Click Rights to Files and Directories on the right side of the dialog
box.
4. In the Volumes box, click Show, and then select the VOL1 volume.
5. In the Files and Directories box, click Add. The Select Object
window appears.
6. In the Browse context window, double-click the VOL1 volume.
7. With the correct volume highlighted in the Files and Directories
box select Read and File Scan, and then click OK.
8. File rights are now set for the SMadmin user and the SMusers
group. You must now install the courseware. Go to the next
section.
