Stopping the Sybase Database NLM
To stop the Sybase Database NLM, complete the following steps:
1. Go to the file server.
Note: Ensure that no user is running the SuccessMaker
Enterprise application.
2. At the Console prompt, press CTRL+ESC. This displays all the
screens that are currently running. Select the screen number for
ASA 8.0.2 (4339) - School.
3. Press Q to stop the Sybase Database service.
4. You must now install the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 update.

Update
1. From a workstation, log on to the NetWare server as the SMadmin
user or a user with admin-equivalent rights to the SuccessMaker
volume. Map a drive letter to your SME volume (where your
SuccessMaker Enterprise management system is installed).
2. Insert the SuccessMaker Enterprise v1.6 Management System
Setup - School CD into the CD drive.
3. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
