If you are going to support Macintosh client workstations, go to the
“Configuring the Server for Macintosh Services” section below.
If you are not going to support Macintosh client workstations, you must now
configure user and group rights to this folder. Go to the section relevant to
the operating system on your server.
• If you are using Windows 2000, go to the “Setting User and Group
Rights on a Server Running Windows 2000” on page 42.
• If you are using Windows 2003, go to “Setting User and Group
Rights on a Server Running Windows 2003” on page 44.
Configuring the Server for Macintosh Services
To add file services for Macintosh, complete the following steps:
1. Click Start and point to Settings.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click Add/Remove Programs.
4. Click Add/Remove Windows Components. The Windows
Components Wizard page appears.
5. Select Other Network File and Print Services, and then click
Details.
6. Select File Services for Macintosh.
7. Click OK.
8. Click Next on the Windows Component Wizard page.
9. Click Finish to exit the setup.
