15. Close the Computer Management window.
16. You must now configure user and group rights to this folder. Go to
“Setting User and Group Rights on a Server Running Windows
2003” on page 44.
Setting User and Group Rights on a Server
Running Windows 2000
To configure the user rights to the SME folder on Windows 2000, complete
the following steps:
1. Right-click the SME folder, and then select Properties.
2. In the SME Properties dialog box, click the Security tab.
3. Clear the Allow inheritable permissions check box. A Security
message appears.
4. Click Remove.
5. Click Add in the SME Properties dialog box.
6. In the Look in list box, select the local domain.
7. Click the SMusers group, and then click Add.
8. Click the SYSTEM user, click Add, and then click OK.
9. Click the Administrators group, click Add, and then click OK.
10. Click SMusers, and then select the Read check box, select the Read
& Execute check box, and the List Folder Contents check box
under the Allow column.
