Ignition System
•
Remove the stick coil harness [A] from the bracket.
•
Remove:
Stick C
oil Connector #4 [B] (disconnect)
Stick Coil #4 [C]
Stick Coil Connector #3 [D] (disconnect)
•
Disconnect:
Water Tem perature Sensor Connector [A]
Left Switch Housing Connector [B]
•
Pull the main harness [C] upward and remove the stick
coil #3 [D].
Stick Coil (Ignition Coil together with Spark Plug Cap)
Installation
•
Install the coil using the following steps.
○
Insert the coil as shown being careful of the coil head [A]
direction.
○
Be sure the stick coils are installed by pulling up [B] it
lightly.
○
Connect and/or install the connectors.
CAUTION
Do not tap the coil head while installing the coil.
•
Install t he thermostat bracket bolt.
