Upload Field Notes
Upload field notes to Geocaching.com when you sync your PN-Series GPS with DeLorme
Topo North America.
• To automatically upload field notes to Geocaching.com when you sync your device:
• You must be logged in to your Geocaching.com premium account through the
Geocaching menu.
• The Upload Field Notes check box on the Geocaching menu must be selected.
• After you sync your device, go to your field notes on Geocaching.com to complete
posting them.
• If you are not logged in or if the Upload Field Notes check box is not selected, you
can manually upload field notes through the Geocaching.com website after you sync
your device.
• The field note file is saved to DeLorme Docs/Draw/PN-Series on your computer. If
you are logged in and the Upload Field Notes check box is selected, the file is deleted
once it is uploaded.
Managing Pocket Queries
If you have a premium membership for Geocaching.com, you can create custom geocache
files (in .gpx) format called pocket queries
on the Geocaching.com website. When you
download a pocket query it creates waypoint layer on the Draw tab.
You can manage your pocket queries from within DeLorme Topo North America and quickly
sync them with your PN-Series GPS.
Create a New Pocket Query
1. On the Map Files tab, click Geocaching, and then click New Pocket Query. The
Geocaching.com website opens on the New Pocket Query page.
2. Log in to the website and create a pocket query.
Edit a Pocket Query
You must be logged in through Topo North America to view and edit a pocket query.
1. On the Map Files tab, click the pocket query you want to edit.
2. Click Geocaching and then click Edit Pocket Query. The Geocaching.com website
opens on the page for your pocket query.
3. Log in to the website and edit your pocket query.
