BATTERY INSPECTION
7.Inspect:
● Battery breather hose
Obstruction → Remove.
Damage → Replace.
8.Install:
● Battery 1
● Battery breather hose 2
Refer to the “CABLE ROUTING” section in
CHAPTER 2.
CAUTION:
When installing the battery, be sure the
breather hose is routed correctly. If the
breather hose touches the frame or exits in
such a way as to cause battery electrolyte
or gas to exit onto the frame, structual and
cosmetic damage to the machine can
occur.

9.Connect:
● Battery leads (positive and negative)
WARNING
Connect the positive lead 1 first.
10.Install:
● Battery bracket
● Seat
Refer to the “REAR FENDER” section.
