REAR FENDER/FUEL TANK
6.Install:
● Rear carrier 1
NOTE:
Do not forget to attach the spacer at the
point where the carrier and bumper are
connected.

Bolt 2 (rear carrier and frame):
34 Nm (3.4 m • kg, 25 ft • lb)
Bolt 3 (rear carrier and rear
bumper):
9 Nm (0.9 m • kg, 6.5 ft • lb)
FUEL TANK
Removal
1.Place the machine on a level place.
2.Remove:
● Seat
Refer to the “REAR FENDER – Removal”
section.
3.Disconnect:
● Breather hose 1 (tank cap side)
4.Remove:
● Bolt 2 (with flange collar)
● Screw 3
● Rivet 4
● Fuel tank cap 5
● Fuel tank cover 6
5.Remove:
● Damper plate 1
NOTE:
After removing the damper plate, immedi-
ately install the tank cap on the fuel tank.
