FRONT HUB INSTALLATION
1. Apply grease to spindle.
2. Inspect spindle and bearing surface for wear or
damage. Install the inner spacer.

3. Install hub on spindle. Install the outer spacer.

4. Install the washer and spindle nut. Torque the
spindle nut to 40 ft. lbs. (54 (Nm)

5. Install a new cotter pin. Tighten nut slightly if
necessary to align cotter pin holes.
6. Rotate wheel and check for smooth operation.
Bend both ends of cotter pin around end of
spindle in different directions.
7. Install hub cap.
8. Rotate hub. It should rotate smoothly without
binding or rough spots or side play.
9. Install brake caliper. Tighten bolts to 18 ft.lbs (24
Nm).

10. Install the wheel and four wheel nuts finger tight.
Lower the ATV and torque the wheel nuts to 30
ft.lbs. (41 Nm).
