FRONT BRAKE
MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
WARNING
●
All internal parts should be cleaned in
new brake fluid only.
●
Internal parts should be lubricated with
brake fluid when installed.
●
Replace the piston seals and dust seals
whenever a brake master cylinder is dis-
assembled.
Recommended brake fluid:
DOT 4
1.Install:
● Brake master cylinder kit 1
● Circlip 2
● Dust boot 3
2.Install:
● Brake master cylinder 1
CAUTION:
● Install the brake master cylinder holder
with the “UP” mark facing upward.
● Align the end of the brake master cylinder
holder with the punch mark a in the han-
dlebar.
● Tighten first the upper bolt, then the
lower bolt.
