REAR WHEELS/REAR BRAKE AND REAR AXLE
8.Remove:
● Adjusters 1 (brake lever and brake pedal)
● Pins
● Springs
9.Disconnect:
● Brake cable 2
● Brake rod 3
● Rear brake breather hose 4
10.Remove:
● Bearing retainer 1
● Brake shoe plate assembly 2
11.Remove:
● Spring 1
● Brake camshaft lever 2
● Wear indicator plate 3
● Brake camshaft 4
12.Remove:
● O-ring 1
● Washer 2
13.Remove:
● Rear axle 1
(tap on right side, pull out from left side)
NOTE:
When removing the rear axle from the swing-
arm and final gear case, use a soft hammer.
CAUTION:
Never directly tap the axle and with a ham-
mer, this will result in damage to the axle
thread and spline.
