ENGINE DISASSEMBLY
3.Remove:
● Lock washer 1
● Balancer gear 2 (driven)
● Straight key 3
CRANKCASE (LEFT)
1.Remove:
● Screws (crankcase)
NOTE:
Working in a crisscross pattern, loosen all
screws 1/4 turn each. Remove them after all
are loosened.
2.Remove:
● Crankcase 1 (left)
● Dowel pins

Removal steps:
●Attach the Crankcase Separating Tool 2
and Attachment 3 to the left side crank-
case.
