REAR WHEELS/REAR BRAKE AND REAR AXLE
INSTALLATION
Reverse the “REMOVAL” procedures.
Note the following points.
1.Lubricate:
● Oil seal lip 1 (rear axle)
● Bearings 2 (rear axle)
● Axle spline (rear axle)
2.Install:
● Rear axle 1
NOTE:
Before installing the rear axle, loosen all the
bolts on the final gear case 2. Hold the rear
axle 1 with your hand, and slide it into the
ring gear spline on the final gear case. Tap
lightly on the left end rear axle with a soft
hammer.
CAUTION:
Never directly tap the axle end with a ham-
mer, this will result in damage to the axle
thread and spline.
3.Install:
● Washer
● O-ring
Lithium-soap base grease
4.Lubricate:
● Brake camshaft 1
Lithium-soap base grease
