1. Lubricate:
8inner rotor
8outer rotor
8oil pump shaft
(with the recommended lubricant)
Recommended lubricant
Engine oil

INSTALLING THE OIL PUMP
1. Install:
8gasket
New
8oil pump 1
4 Nm (0.4 m • kgf, 2.9 ft • lbf)
NOTICE
After tightening the bolts, make sure the oil
pump turns smoothly.
2. Install:
8O-ring
New
8cover
13 Nm (1.3 m • kgf, 9.4 ft • lbf)
2. Install:
8oil pump shaft 1
(to the oil pump housing 2)
8pin 3
8inner rotor 4
8outer rotor 5
8oil pump housing cover 6
8oil pump housing screw
TIP
When installing the inner rotor, align the pin 3 in
the oil pump shaft with the groove a in the inner
rotor 4.
3. Check:
8oil pump operation
Refer to “CHECKING THE OIL PUMP”.
