REPLACING THE FRONT BRAKE PADS
TIP
When replacing the brake pads, it is not neces-
sary to disconnect the brake hose or disas-
semble the brake caliper.
1. Loosen:
8brake pad retaining bolt 1
2. Remove:
8brake caliper 2
3. Remove:
8circlip
8brake pad retaining bolt
8brake pads
8brake pad springs
4. Measure:
8brake pad wear limit a
Out of specification Replace the brake
pads as a set.
Brake pad wear limit
0.8mm (0.03in)
5. Install:
8brake pad springs
8brake pads
TIP
Always install new brake pads and a new brake
pad springs as a set.
TIP
Make sure the brake pad springs is installed
correctly as shown.
