REMOVING THE AC MAGNETO
1. Remove:
8air guide
8air shroud cylinder 3
2. Remove:
8fan
8AC magneto rotor nut 1
8washer
TIP
While holding the AC magneto rotor 3 with the
rotor holding tool 2, loosen the AC magneto ro-
tor nut.

3. Remove:
8AC magneto rotor 1
(with the flywheel puller 2 )
8woodruff key
8stator coil assembly
NOTICE
To protect the end of the crankshaft, place
an appropriate sized socket between the
flywheel puller set’s center bolt and the
crankshaft.
TIP
Make sure the flywheel puller set is centered over
the AC magneto rotor.
