REPLACING THE HEADLIGHT BULBS

REPLACING THE HEADLIGHT BULBS
The following procedure applies to both of the
headlight bulbs.
1. Remove:
8safeguard
8leg shield 1
Refer to “COVER AND PANEL”.
2. Disconnect:
8headlight coupler
3. Remove:
8dust boot
8headlight bulb holder 1
8headlight bulb 2
WARNING
Since the headlight bulb gets extremely hot,
keep flammable products and your hands
away from the bulb until it has cooled down.
4. Install:
8headlight bulb
New
Secure the new headlight bulb with the
headlight bulb holder.
NOTICE
Avoid touching the glass part of the
headlight bulb to keep it free from oil,
otherwise the transparency of the glass, the
life of the bulb and the luminous flux will be
adversely affected. If the headlight bulb gets
soiled, thoroughly clean it with a cloth
moistened with alcohol or lacquer thinner.
5. Install :
8headlight bulb holder
8dust boot
6. Connect:
8headlight coupler
7. Install:
8leg shield 1
8safeguard
