PAGE DISPLAY DEFINITIONS
The following section contains definitions pertaining to information
and format seen when a particular function key is depressed.
PAGE DISPLAYS AT POWER-UP
For a better understanding of the GNS-XL functions, this section
should be reviewed prior to operating the system.
SELF TEST PAGE
For the first 30 seconds after
the system if is turned on, the
computer performs extensive
internal tests that must be
successfully completed
before proceeding further. If
the system detects a problem
the SELF TEST display may
be replaced by a NO DATA
RECEIVED message. The
unit may have to be removed
for service.
INITIALIZATION PAGE
After the Self Test is success-
fully completed, the INITIAL-
IZATION Page will be dis-
played. Refer to Figure 2-2.
DATE:
The current Greenwich Date
is displayed as day, month
and year.
GMT:
Time of day is displayed in Greenwich Mean Time hours and minutes.
