VOICE ALERTS
The following audio alerts are announced by the system using a voice of male or female gender. If the
optional Terrain Awareness and Warning System is installed, voice alerts are also generated (refer to the TAWS
Alerts section).
Voice Alert Alert Trigger
“Minimums, Minimums”
Issued when the aircraft transitions through the minimum descent altitude/decision height (MDA/DH)
“Vertical Track” Aircraft is one minute from Top of Descent - issued only when vertical navigation is enabled
“Traffic” TIS voice alert - issued when a Traffic Advisory (TA) is issued
“Traffic Not Available” TIS voice alert - issued when the TIStraffic system fails or cannot communicate
“Traffic, Traffic” TAS voice alert - issued when a Traffic Advisory (TA) is issued
“Traffic Advisory System
Test Passed”
TAS voice alert - issued when the TAS passes a pilot-initiated self test
“Traffic Advisory System
Test Failed”
TAS voice alert - issued when the TAS fails a pilot-initiated self test
Selecting the audio alert voice:
1) Use the FMS Knob to select the AUX - System Setup Page.
2) Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor.
3) Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the voice in the Audio Alert Box.
4) Turn the small FMS Knob to select the desired voice, press the ENT Key.
