5.7.2.20 Frequency Modulation
FM deviation is to be measured with an average responding
detector, which is RMS sine wave calibrated. The result is to be
divided by 0.707 to yield the mathematical peak deviation.
1. Modulate the transmitter with a standard modulator input signal.
2. Verify the FM deviation does not exceed r1 kHz.
