ENGINE OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT
Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.1.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.2.
Engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).3.
Open the left front water tank (5, Fig. G) by disengaging the upper and lower fasteners (39 and 38) with an Allen wrench d.8.4.
Replace the oil lter element as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.5.
NOTE
Always use original spare parts.
WARNING!
The oil and lters should be disposed of properly according to the environmental laws in force.
Close the left front water tank (5, Fig. G) and engage the upper and lower fasteners (39 and 38).6.
ENGINE AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.) properly, when performing cleaning procedures using compressed
air or water gun.
Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.1.
Lift the hopper by pressing and holding the upper part of the switch (24, Fig. E).2.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.3.
Engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).4.
Install the hopper support rod as shown in Hopper Support Rod Installation paragraph.5.
Open the right front water tank (2, Fig. F) by disengaging the upper and lower fasteners (17 and 16) with an Allen wrench d.8.6.
Remove the engine air lter cover (1, Fig. AJ) by releasing the fasteners (2).7.
Remove the air lter element (3, Fig. AJ).8.
Remove the air lter safety element (4, Fig. AJ).9.
Clean (replace if necessary) and install the elements.10.
Perform steps 2 to 8 in the reverse order.11.
DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF) CLEANING/REPLACEMENT
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.) properly, when performing cleaning procedures using compressed
air or water gun.
Preliminary operations
Drive the machine on a solid and level ground, then engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).1.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.2.
Let the engine exhaust system cool down for a few minutes.3.
Go to the rear side of the machine, in the lower area between the rear wheels.4.
Open the heat protection (2, Fig. AL) of the particulate lter (1) by releasing the 6 fasteners (9).5.
Remove the pipe (3, Fig. AL) from the tting on the particulate lter (1).6.
Remove the pipe (4, Fig. AL) from the tting on the particulate lter (1).7.
Loosen the clamp (5, Fig. AL) that fasten the drain pipe (6).8.
Loosen the two clamps (7, Fig. AL) fastening the particulate lter (1) to the holder (8).9.
Remove the particulate lter (8) and take it to the workbench.10.
Filter cleaning/replacement
To clean and replace, if necessary, the lter main body, see the procedure in the Diesel Engine Manual.1.
Perform steps 5 to 10 in the reverse order.2.
