Select the speed for transport: by pressing the lower part of the switch (21, Fig. E) for the rst time, the “fast speed” is selected 6.
and it is possible to travel up to 40 km/h, by pressing the lower part of the switch (21, Fig. E) a second time, the “slow speed” is
selected and it is possible to travel up to 25 km/h.
CAUTION!
The speed change can be performed only if: The gear selector (11, Fig. D) is in central position (neutral), the
brake pedal (4, Fig. D) is pressed and the machine is stopped.
WARNING!
The “fast speed” is shown also by the lighting up of the switch (21, Fig. E).
NOTE
At start-up, the machine is set to “slow speed”.
NOTE
The above mentioned procedures can be performed only if the machine is equipped with speed change system.
Otherwise the machine has a maximum constant speed of 25 km/h.
Bring the throttle lever (2, Fig. D) forward until the display (32, Fig. E) shows 2,300 rpm.7.
NOTE
If 2,350 rpm are reached during transport, an over revving safety function cuts power to the engine, while the engine
speed on the display (32, Fig. E) ashes to indicate the abnormal condition.
Turn the forward/reverse gear selector (11, Fig. D) forward to move forward, and rearward to move in reverse. When moving in 8.
reverse, the reverse gear buzzer will sound.
Disengage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).9.
Press the accelerator pedal (5, Fig. D) gradually.10.
Start to transport the machine, by keeping the hands on the steering wheel (15, Fig. E).11.
The drive speed can be adjusted from zero to maximum speed by increasing the pressure on the pedal.12.
NOTE
In case of obstacles (footpaths, etc.), lift the front side of the machine by pressing the upper part of the switch (27, Fig.
E). To lower the machine press and hold the lower part of the switch (27).
CAUTION!
When the machine is lifted, the maximum allowed speed is 5 km/h.
WARNING!
When using the machine do not forget that this is a tractor and semitrailer type machine.
WARNING!
When using the machine, be sure that there are no people near the pivoting area of the machine.
Stopping the machine in transport mode
To stop the machine there are three options:1.
Release the accelerator pedal slowly (engine brake on all four wheels).
Press the brake pedal (service brake on all four wheels).
NOTE
When pressing the pedal, the machine neutral is engaged.
Engage the parking brake (emergency brake on front wheels).
Turn the engine throttle lever (2, Fig. D) to idle, and hold it in this position for a few minutes to let the system stabilize.2.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.3.
WARNING!
In case of immediate danger for the operator or other people, press the emergency push-button (19, Fig.
E) to stop the engine immediately. Do not use the emergency push-button to stop the engine under normal
conditions.
To stop the machine, perform the procedures shown in Diesel Engine Start And Stop paragraph.4.
