The components and operating principles
of COMAND can be found on (Y page 78).

Warning!
Follow the recommended settings for
heating and cooling given on the following
pages and pages in the “Controls in detail”
chapter. Otherwise the windows could fog
up, impairing visibility and endangering you
and others.
You can operate the climate control via
COMAND or via the buttons on the climate
control panel (Y page 385).
Some of the special climate control functions
can only be operated via COMAND.
